If you've been on campus recently, you may have noticed a few changes--and there's even more happening beyond what meets the eye. We're grateful to be wrapping up construction and this season of growth and improvement as upgrades both seen and unseen take place across our church. Each project, large or small, reflects our desire to steward well what God has entrusted to us and to lay the foundation to allow us to better serve our congregation and community.
Check out some of those projects below.

We have installed a complete network system in the church to replace the 2 "home routers" that we have previously used. This allows us to have a robust Wi-Fi network through the church along with improved coverage to the parsonage. It also allows us to better livestream services, prepares the way for a new phone system in the church, monitors in our nursery and Mungo Hall, and more.
The Care Ministry has been able to grow the space for their Sunshine Baskets. The shelves are loaded with items and gifts ready for those that could use a pick me up.
Our new Digital Stage Box allowed us to get rid of all of the cords and cables that have been running across the balcony since we relocated the sound booth in 2022.

New windows were installed at the front entrance of the Sanctuary, replacing the single-paned stained glass windows. We found that these windows were in much worse shape than we first thought. The new windows not only enhanced the front of the church, they will help reduce heating costs!
The snow makes it a little hard to see, but we were able to take down the 2 trees out back that were dead and dying.
We have mounted the Livestream camera in the Sanctuary. This eliminates the bouncy video from movement in the balcony and allows a better vantage point for those watching the Livestream.

We have also been able to repair the damaged ceilings in the Sanctuary above the sound booth.

We have also started construction on the front sidewalk. The roof and fascia along the sidewalk needed some attention as it had pulled away from the roof and was causing issues there. We also realized as we removed the decorative panels from the front sidewalk that the main beam also had some rot that needed to be addressed. When the weather warms up we will be able to finish installing new flashing around the columns and the header beam. It will also prepare us for the new landscaping that will be installed this spring.
